Jesuits Ordered to Pay $50 Million to Alaskan Abuse Victims

The Jesuit order of the Roman Catholic Church is to pay 50 million dollars to 110 people allegedly abused by priests and missionaries in rural Alaska, US media reports said on Monday.
The allegations centered around 12 priests and three missionaries who were accused of abusing Eskimo children in 15 villages from 1961 to 1987.
