WASHINGTON - Army brass in Iraq whitewashed an incident of a soldier killed by his own lieutenant by blaming the dead hero, stonewalling his family and promoting his killer, the Daily News has learned.
The friendly-fire victim, Pfc. David Sharrett, 27, of Oakton, Va., was "misidentified" by 1stLt. Timothy Hanson as an enemy gunman during a botched night raid Jan. 16, 2008, against an Al Qaeda in Iraq stronghold north of Baghdad, the Army belatedly acknowledged.
Sharrett bled to death as his buddies searched frantically for him for 25 minutes after the firefight ended.
For four months after the Army knew the truth, it still insisted to Sharrett's father that he was killed by enemy fire - and gave only atemporary wrist slap to Hanson under pressure from the families of Sharrett and two other G.I.s killed in the clash.

The Anthrax Files
The FBI claims to have caught the killer. But so much evidence has been neglected or mishandled that many experts still have doubts.
The first week of August, the popular press got back in the game, reporting the apparent suicide of USAMRIID scientist Bruce E. Ivins, alleged to be the sole operator behind the anthrax letters. The Associated Press reported that Ivins, who is said to have killed himself on July 29 with an overdose of prescription Tylenol mixed with codeine, was “one of the government’s leading scientists researching vaccines and cures for anthrax exposure.” According to the AP, he was “brilliant but troubled.” His lawyer, Paul Kemp, says that Ivins passed a pair of polygraph tests and that the grand jury investigating the case was weeks from returning an indictment. Yet within days of his death, the bureau announced that it was beginning the shutdown of its “Amerithrax” investigation. “Anthrax Case a Wrap,” blared the Daily News on Aug. 4.
In April, it was reported that the FBI had been focusing on as many as four suspects. Fox News identified them as a “former deputy commander,” presumably in the U.S. Army, a “leading anthrax scientist,” and “a microbiologist.” The fourth suspect was given no description. Now the bureau is “confident that Dr. Ivins was the only person responsible for these attacks,” according to the assurances of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.

‘Suicide’ of Anthrax Scientist–Another Mossad Frame Up?
But more importantly, as any good cop will testify, a case not closed means a case still open, which means going back to square one and reviewing the evidence all over again in the hopes of finding something possibly missed. Obviously this means looking at information certain entities (and particularly those interested in dragging the US into Israel’s dirty wars) can’t afford to have exposed to public scrutiny, and in particular the evidence revolving around a certain Lt. Col. Phillip Zack.
For those who bought into the made-in-Israel storyline following the 2001 anthrax attacks that ‘the Ay-rabs did it,’ Zack was a researcher at the same Ft. Dietrich bio-weapons lab where the now ‘suicided’ Bruce Ivins worked. Along with Zack and Ivins was also one Ayyaad Assaad, an Egyptian-born scientist who became the butt of a concerted anti-Arab, anti-Islamic campaign organized and executed by Zack and some of his cohorts at the lab who collectively called themselves ‘the Camel Club’. A few days after 9/11 an anonymous letter turned up at a Marine base in Quantico Virginia accusing Assaad of being a terrorist planning biological attacks against America. According to Assaad’s testimony to the FBI agents who interviewed him, the personal information contained in the letter could only have been written by a co-worker at the lab, and surprise, surprise, a few days later, anthrax turns up in the mail. Furthermore, a security film caught Zack entering the Ft. Dietrich facility after hours at a time he no longer worked there, and more importantly, caught him on tape entering a secure section of the facility where the very same strain of anthrax used in the attacks later turned up missing. Given that the anthrax attacks amounted to the use of a weapon of mass destruction against the United States, naturally investigative eyes were on all persons considered relevant to the case, and–almost as if on cue–just about the time Zack and his anti-Arab bigotry started to circulate as clues in the case, the previously-mentioned Barbara Hatch Rosenberg floated the idea that Steven Hatfill should be put under the microscope, which he was, while all investigation of Zack slipped out the proverbial back door, never to be mentioned again.

Since inhaling anthrax at a Sterling postal facility in 2001 and filing a lawsuit against the federal government, he says he’s been wiretapped, followed, and threatened by government officials.
That’s why Hose, 66, has sympathy instead of anger for Bruce Ivins, the scientist who worked at the Army’s biological warfare defense labs. Ivins committed suicide last week as prosecutors prepared to charge him with carrying out the anthrax attacks seven years ago.
“I don’t care for anybody that does the kind of work he did, but they’re using him as a scapegoat,” Hose said. “They’ve harassed that man for 41/2 years and he finally broke.”

A BRAD BLOG reader points us to this curious note, near the end of a late-afternoon story from today's Washington Post coverage, noting that Ivins had "no access to dry, powdered anthrax" at the Fort Detrick lab where he worked [emphasis ours]:

Colonel Anderson Refutes False Allegations Against Dr. Ivins
Colonel Arthur Anderson is the chief of human use and ethics at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), the bioweapons facility where Dr. Ivins worked and where the anthrax strains were apparently obtained by the anthrax killer.
In that position, Colonel Anderson's responsibilities include the following jobs:
*** "Conduct inquiries and investigations upon receipt of allegations of scientific misconduct or improper researcher behavior.

*** Prepare timely and intensive fact-finding reviews of minimal risk protocols that qualify for expedited review; ... Investigate issues arising during conduct of studies"
First, he disputes the allegation that Ivins told no one that he had found anthrax in his lab for many months. Specifically, as reported in today's Wall Street Journal:
"Col. Anderson says Dr. Ivins told him about the lapse in safety shortly after it occurred, contradicting Army findings in 2002 that Dr. Ivins had told no one."
Anderson's role as the person in charge of "conduct[ing] inquiries and investigations upon receipt of allegations of scientific misconduct or improper researcher behavior" and of "investigat[ing] issues arising during conduct of studies" is therefore important. He was an appropriate person for Ivins to speak to about his anthrax tests (admittedly, protocol required Ivins to tell others as well; but the fact that Ivins told Anderson shows good faith and a lack of guilty conscience on Ivins' part).
Second, Anderson says that social worker Jean Duley's conduct was wholly inappropriate and lacked credibility. Anderson, as an ethics expert and someone who knew Ivins well, simply doesn't buy Duley's allegations.
FBI said to have stalked Ivins' family
WASHINGTON - Before killing himself last week, Army scientist Bruce Ivins told friends that government agents had stalked him and his family for months, offered his son $2.5 million to rat him out and tried to turn his hospitalized daughter against him with photographs of dead anthrax victims.
The last thing the FBI needed was another embarrassment. Overreaching damaged the FBI’s reputation in the high-profile investigations: the Centennial Olympic Park bombing probe that falsely accused Richard Jewell; the theft of nuclear secrets and botched prosecution of scientist Wen Ho Lee; and, in this same anthrax probe, the smearing of an innocent man — Ivins’ colleague Steven Hatfill.
Bruce Ivins: The Movie
It sounds like a very bad made-for-television movie: a mad scientist – a violent sociopath, a "nerd with a dark side," who had already tried to kill several people, is obsessed with pornography, and is fixated on a particular college sorority – unleashes a strain of deadly anthrax through the U.S. mail, killing five, infecting 17 others, and terrorizing the country. His motive, aside from sheer antisocial vindictiveness: he holds the patent for an anthrax vaccine, and he also wants to direct the nation's attention to the supposedly overlooked and underfunded problem of bio-terrorism. That'll teach 'em!
It reads like some pretty execrable fiction, yet the FBI is peddling this farrago of shopworn clichés as the facts surrounding the alleged guilt of Bruce E. Ivins, whose suicide the other day ostensibly closes the 7-year-old anthrax terrorism case that has baffled investigators and shone a cruel light on the Bureau's methods and standards of conduct.

Ivins is the Third Scientist the FBI has Tried to Pin the Anthrax Attacks On
Ivins is the third scientist who the government has accused of being the Anthrax killer.
First the Egyptian scientist, Dr. Ayaad Assaad, was framed.
When that frame-up fell apart, they tried to frame Stephen Hatfill.
Now, a couple of weeks after the frame-up against Hatfill unraveled, they are claiming that Ivins is the guy.
As a top anthrax expert says:
"I am struck by the fact that there appears to have been at least two previous people who were pointed to who appear to have been patsies -- Steven Hatfill being one and Ayaad Assaad being another."
No wonder the former Senate Majority leader - who was himself mailed anthrax - said "he did not know if the investigation involving Ivins 'is just another false track and a real diversion of where they need to be. We don't know, and they aren't telling us.' "

According to the government, James Earl Ray shot Dr. Martin Luther King from that window. There is, needless to say, no physical evidence to prove this charge. James Earl Ray spent his life in prison based solely on a coerced confession which he immediately retracted. None of the ballistics tests, which were performed on the rifle James Earl Ray allegedly used, were able to link that rifle to the actual bullet that killed Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King's family does not think James Earl Ray was the killer, and recently won a civil court case proving there was a conspiracy.

The witnesses are all pointing in the direction the fatal shot was fired from. There is no confusion among the witnesses as to where the source of the shot was. They are not confused by echoes. THE FINAL PHASE OF THE 9-11 COVER-UP

Six years after the worst terrorist atrocity in U.S. history, not a single lawsuit filed by the relatives of the 9-11 victims has gone to trial. With only 21 cases remaining, it appears increasingly likely that the book may be closed on the 9-11 litigation without a single case ever being heard in court.
The 9-11 litigation process is approaching the final phase of the Zionist-run cover-up of what really happened on September 11, 2001.
There are two recent news items, which have not been widely reported, that indicate that the walling up of the truth is nearly complete. There are just a few remaining bricks left to be put into place - about 21 to be precise - and the wall hiding the truth will be finished.
21 CASES REMAIN
The first news item, from September 18, is that 14 of the 35 remaining suits filed by relatives of 9-11 victims, seeking compensation from the airlines and the foreign-owned airport security contractors, were settled out-of-court one week before the first case was to go to trial.
The first trial was to start on Monday, September 24 but that case was among those settled. The next trial is scheduled to begin on November 5.
It should be noted that this will not be a 9-11 trial in which any liability or accountability will be determined. In a most unusual reversal of legal procedure, U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein has ordered that six trials for damages take place before any trial for liability.
Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, an Orthodox Zionist Jew and devotee of the State of Israel, oversees all 9-11 litigation.
Judge Hellerstein, who oversees all 9-11 litigation, has done this, he says, in the hope that both sides may use the damage figures as a road map toward settlement.
Only 21 cases remain of the original 95 cases filed in federal court. The rest have all been settled or dismissed.
"The rush of settlements leaves open the question of whether any trials will take place," the New York Times reported on September 19, 2007.
HELLERSTEIN GETS SICK WORKER CASES
The second news item, from September 22, is that the lawsuits filed by some 300 workers allegedly sickened from working at Ground Zero will not be heard in New York state courts but will be moved to the federal court of - you guessed it - Alvin K. Hellerstein.
The state's Appellate Division ruled that all claims tied to injury, death or loss of property from the 9-11 attacks fall under the jurisdiction of Manhattan federal court.
This is clearly an incorrect ruling, however, because the worker lawsuits are not against the airlines or the airport security companies, which were relegated to Hellerstein. These "sick workers" cases are against the City of New York, which is clearly not within the judicial purview of the federal mandate of Judge Hellerstein.
This is a very unfair ruling and set-back which corrals all the workers' lawsuits into Hellerstein's courtroom. This ruling overturned a decision by a Manhattan Supreme Court judge, who had allowed the workers' bids for litigation to proceed in state court, even after they filed late notices of claim against the city.
Close to 9,000 lawsuits by workers whose health was affected by working at Ground Zero had already reportedly been filed in the federal court.
These developments reveal how the relatives of those killed on 9-11 have been effectively denied the discovery, justice, and accountability they have sought through litigation.
The law firm of Motley Rice represents all remaining families who lost loved ones aboard the airplanes involved in 9-11, according to the firm's press release of September 24, 2007. Alicia Ward, director of communications for Motley Rice, confirmed this and the next court date of November 5.
"Several of our clients chose to settle after we reached the amount that they wanted and after we completed years of discovery and investigations that were more extensive and probing than even that completed by the U.S. government's 9-11 Commission," attorney Joseph F. Rice said. "We gave them answers and accountability which was denied them by the U.S. government's victim compensation program."
The terms of the settlement, however, bar families from discussing the details so it appears highly unlikely that the evidence obtained by the "extensive investigations" and "years of discovery" will ever become part of the public record.
Mike Low, whose 28-year-old daughter, Sara, a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11, told the New York Times that he was not deterred by the settlements.

"The frustrating thing is not having a trial date," he said. "The wheels of justice turn excruciatingly slow. It doesn’t change my mind any. My desire and goal is to try to find some answers. I want to know why Abdulaziz Alomari and Mohamed Atta were allowed to walk on planes in Portland, Me., with prohibited weapons. I want somebody to tell me why that happened."
By now, it should be evident that the court of Alvin K. Hellerstein is not likely to produce the answers that Mr. Low wants. Hellerstein's court is clearly part of the apparatus for concealing the truth of what really happened on 9-11.
Why, for example, have individuals peripheral to the 9-11 crimes been put on trial while key suspects like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), the confessed "mastermind," are kept locked up in their cells in Guantanamo, Cuba? What kind of discovery is going on there?
Discovery - Guantanamo Style… But where's the justice?
If Hellerstein were truly interested in getting answers about how and why 9-11 happened wouldn't he request that KSM be brought to his courtroom in New York City? How can the "mastermind" of 9-11 not be part of the legal process that Hellerstein is overseeing? Why is this key suspect, the "mastermind" of 9-11, being protected?
To understand how a small group of dedicated individuals can conceal the truth of a huge crime it is necessary to know how the cover-up works.
In a criminal cover-up, like that at work with 9-11, there are three main processes that need to be controlled:
1. the investigation - primarily the collection and confiscation of evidence;
2. the interpretation of the event by mass media and appointed official commissions;
3. the prosecution and litigation of lawsuits pertaining to the crime.
It can be assumed that the people involved in the 9-11 cover-up are connected to the perpetrators of the crime.
In the case of 9-11, the people who controlled each and every one of these three key processes: investigation, interpretation, and prosecution, are Zionist Jews who share a dedication and loyalty to the State of Israel.
The fact that Zionists have played key roles in the covering-up of the truth of 9-11 suggests that the Israeli role in the crimes of 9-11 was much greater than most people realize. That is to say that the Israeli agents monitoring the Arab suspects were actually part of an operation that the Mossad was controlling.
"To those who have investigated just what the Israelis were up to that day, the case raises one dreadful possibility: that Israeli intelligence had been shadowing the al-Qaeda hijackers as they moved from the Middle East through Europe and into America where they trained as pilots and prepared to suicide-bomb the symbolic heart of the United States. And the motive? To bind America in blood and mutual suffering to the Israeli cause," Scotland's award-winning journalist Neil Mackay wrote in The Sunday Herald of November 2, 2003:

Mackay's article concluded:

I disagree with Mackay and others who say it is "for the history books to discover and decide." The evidence of Israeli prior knowledge of the attacks is well-documented and the names and roles of the key players in the Zionist cover-up are known.
Understanding the foreign agenda and dual-nationals involved at every point of the cover-up is key to understanding who was truly behind the terrorist mass murder of 9-11.

Asst. Attorney General Michael Chertoff, the Israeli-American dual national responsible for the Criminal Division of the Dept. of Justice in 2001 and 2002, was the key Zionist agent controlling the "non-investigation" of 9-11.
